Steps.
1. Login to http://www.powtoon.com/
2. Enter you email address and password.
3.Select the preferred template. Do not use Pro.
4. Preview the template and if it fine click use the template.
5. Once the template is open, click on edit to start editing the template slides.
6. Click on setting icon to change the background.
7. Use the edit pane on right side to add; Text, characters, props, sounds. images, videos e.t.c
